Prentiss County deputies arrest two in Cairo for drug possession
Prentiss County deputies responded to a reported incident at Dollar General in Cairo on July 15, 2026, after receiving a call about a red car parked for more than two hours with the occupants passed out inside.
Deputies identified the driver as Jason Heavener, 41, of Corinth, and the passenger as Tiffany Flynt, 34, of Iuka. Heavener was charged with possession of a controlled substance, specifically crack cocaine.
Flynt was charged with possession of a controlled substance, specifically methamphetamine. Both individuals were taken into custody and booked into county jail. Bonds were set at $10,000 for each by Prentiss County Justice Court Judge Ray Hall.
North Mississippi Narcotics Agent Grady Smith will present the case to the next grand jury, according to authorities.
