A twenty year old man from Ripley has been arrested and charged with two counts of felony shoplifting.
According to a press release from Tupelo Police Department, Tupleo Vape Shop reported a felony shoplifting incident on September 30th, 2024. On October 7th, 2024, Cloud City Vape also reported a felony shoplifting incident.
An investigation into the incidents was conducted, and a suspect was named. The suspect in both situations was identified as Rashad Fryer. An arrest warrant was issued for Fryer.
Tupelo Police Department officers arrested Fryer following a traffic stop conducted on November 30th, 2024.
On December 2nd, 2024, Fryer was ordered to be held on a $10,000 bond by Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir.
