Trash pickup time for Alcorn County residents to change

Residents in Alcorn County will have an earlier pickup time this summer to avoid extreme temperatures.

From Waste Connections:

Starting June 1st the start time for trash pickup will be at 6:00am instead of 7:00am due to the heat. We try to start the guys early to avoid the hottest part of the day. Safety is a top priority but in the summer months it becomes a necessity.

Make sure to get your trash out earlier.
