Corinth woman charged with vehicle theft

On Friday the 30th of June Saltillo Police Department was called to Smith Dr for a report of a burglary.

When officers arrived on scene they were advised that a white female was seen to have entered one of the apartments thru the window. The female then exited the apartment and got into a vehicle that was found to not belong to her.

While she attempted to start the vehicle she was confronted by other homeowners. The female then fled the vehicle and entered another apartment where officers found her hiding.

The female was found to be Haley McCracken of Corinth. McCracken was charged with breaking and entering , burglary of an auto, and disorderly conduct.

McCracken’s bond was set at $25,000 and will be presented to the next grand jury.
