Man charged with armed robbery after pulling knife on Walmart employee
**Armed Robbery Arrest**
On 04/28/23, Officers responded to Walmart regarding a man pulling a knife on an employee. After reviewing the surveillance footage, the suspect was identified as Dontea Lasley.
During this incident, Lasley had stolen hard drives totaling $457.93 from Walmart and was being watched by Walmart employees. As Lasley was leaving the store, he pulled the knife and the employee backed away.
On 05/01/23, Lasley was taken into custody and has been charged with Armed Robbery.
This case will be presented to an Alcorn County Grand Jury.
