Police seek help identifying suspects in Tupelo theft
Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are seeking assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a theft at Best Buy in Tupelo.
The incident occurred on April 18, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Two unidentified males entered the store together. While inside, one suspect removed a laptop from a display and concealed it. The other suspect acted as a lookout to prevent store employees from observing the theft.
The suspects then exited the store without paying for the merchandise. They left the scene in a silver or gray sedan, which has not been identified.
Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-773-TIPS or to use the P3 Tip App to leave an anonymous tip. Crime Stoppers offers up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest. The organization emphasizes that tipsters’ identities will remain confidential.
Officials also urge the public to share the QR code for the P3 Tip App to aid in the investigation.
