Mississippi authorities seek help identifying suspects in July theft

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Union County Sheriff’s Office are requesting the public’s help in identifying suspects connected to a burglary and vehicle theft in Union County.

On July 5, around 3:30 p.m., two individuals reportedly broke into a shop on County Road 26 in the Macedonia community. They stole a 2024 red Can Am Defender four-door side-by-side, kicking in the door to gain entry.

The suspects drove off in the vehicle, which was last seen headed toward County Road 18 from County Road 19, according to authorities. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip via the P3 Tip App. Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest. Officials emphasized that they do not require callers to reveal their identities.
