The 1st Squadron of the 98th Cavalry visited Corinth to thank community members for their support during recent ice storm relief efforts, according to a post from the Corinth Police Department.
The soldiers stopped by to show appreciation to Chief Tucker, his wife Kate, and Russell and Julia Smith for their consideration and assistance. The visit highlighted the strong relationship between the military personnel and local residents during the emergency.
Officials did not specify any additional details about the visit or the support provided by the community members.
