Local firefighters and police officers will face off in the annual charity softball game at Corinth City Park on July 18, with proceeds supporting Havis’ Kids, a local charity. The event aims to bring the community together while helping children’s causes, organizers said.
The gates open at 5 p.m., with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. Attendees can enjoy the national anthem performed by Will Talley and a prayer led by Peyton Mooneyham. Concessions will be available throughout the evening, and a silent auction will be held to raise additional funds.
There is no charge for admission, though donations are welcomed. Organizers encourage families to attend, cheer on their favorite teams, and support the cause. The event emphasizes community spirit with the slogan, “One community. One team. One cause.”
