Firefighter vs. Police Softball Game Raises Funds for Local Kids
Community members are invited to attend the annual firefighter versus police softball game to benefit Havis’ Kids. The event will be held July 18 at Corinth City Park.
The gates open at 5 p.m., with the first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. Attendees can enjoy the national anthem performed by Will Talley and a prayer led by Peyton Mooneyham. Concessions will be available, and a silent auction will be held to raise additional funds.
There is no charge for entry, although donations are encouraged. Organizers invite families to cheer for their favorite teams and support the cause, emphasizing the community spirit behind the event. The game is part of a larger effort to make dreams come true for children served by Havis’ Kids, a local charity focused on helping children in need.
