Booneville Police Hold Pistol Optics Training Course

The Booneville Police Department hosted a two-day Pistol Optics Fundamentals & Proficiency Course on Aug. 13-14. The event was held in partnership with Spearpoint Range and drew officers from several local agencies.

Participants engaged in advanced training on red dot optic systems and completed rigorous field exercises aimed at improving operational skills and community safety, according to police officials.

Despite unseasonably hot weather, officers remained focused and completed the training successfully. The Booneville Police Department expressed gratitude to local businesses and community members who donated hydration supplies and provided lunch to support the event.

Department officials emphasized that community support played a vital role in ensuring the safety and health of participating officers during the demanding course.
