Mississippi wildlife and forestry groups hold joint conference

The Mississippi Chapter of The Wildlife Society and the Society of American Foresters held a joint meeting September 9-11, bringing together two organizations focused on natural resources.

Attendees shared current research and discussed issues in wildlife and forestry fields. A field trip on Hall Timberland property showcased prescribed fire research, white-tailed deer population management, and active timberland management across Mississippi.
