Cold front expected to arrive late tonight, with slight risk of isolated storms

A cold front is expected to approach the region late tonight, according to weather forecasts.

There is a less than 20% chance of isolated severe thunderstorms in Northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, and extreme northwest Tennessee between midnight and 4 a.m., the National Weather Service said.

Residents are advised to stay aware of weather updates as conditions may change overnight.
