Corinth police involved in officer-involved shooting at Farmington Arms Apartments

Corinth police officers were involved in an officer-involved shooting Wednesday afternoon at the Farmington Arms Apartments, according to the department.

Authorities said officers responded around 12:30 p.m. to a report of a physical disturbance in the area. During the incident, an officer sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The suspect was taken to Magnolia Regional Hospital for treatment. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has taken over the investigation, the department said.
