District Attorney thanks 2026 summer interns for their contributions
The First Circuit Court District expressed gratitude to its 2026 summer interns for their hard work and contributions. District Attorney Jason D. Herring commended the students for demonstrating professionalism, dedication, and a commitment to public service during their internships.
The interns, all law students, produced excellent work and invested significant time and effort serving the office and the community. Herring extended best wishes to each as they continue their legal education and pursue future careers in law.
The interns include Luke Pinson from Tupelo, Mississippi, a second-year law student at Tulane; Ella Pitts from Mantachie, Mississippi, a second-year law student at Mississippi College; Lily Shaw from Corinth, Mississippi, a second-year law student at Ole Miss; Carter Grubbs from Guntown, Mississippi, a second-year law student at Ole Miss; and Autumn Looney from Senatobia, Mississippi, a third-year law student at Ole Miss.
