A survey team confirmed damage consistent with an EF-0 tornado in Dyersburg following Tuesday morning’s storms, according to officials.
The team is still conducting assessments in Piggott, Arkansas, where additional damage is being evaluated. The results of that survey are expected soon.
Authorities urge residents to stay alert and follow safety guidelines as more storm-related assessments are completed.
