Winds are expected to be gusty across the region today, with speeds reaching 25 to 30 mph by the afternoon, according to weather officials.
After a brief lull in wind activity early in the evening, gusts are forecast to pick up again after midnight as a frontal boundary moves through the area.
Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor items and exercise caution while outdoors, especially later tonight when wind speeds increase.
