Heat Advisory Issued for Memphis Area with Temperatures Expected to Reach 110°F
A secondary heat advisory has been issued for Memphis, Tennessee, for Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory warns of heat indices exceeding 105°F, with the possibility of reaching more than 110°F on both Monday and Tuesday. Additional heat headlines are anticipated in the coming days, the weather service said.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged outdoor activities, and take precautions against heat-related illnesses, officials added.
