Heat to Return to Mid-South with Temperatures Near 100 Degrees

Hot temperatures are expected to return to the Mid-South starting Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee.

Highs will gradually increase into the upper 90s and around 100 degrees. Heat advisories may be issued as heat index values could rise above 105 degrees in some areas across the region.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat-related illnesses as the heat wave continues into next week.
