Understanding Pure Live Seed (PLS) is crucial for planting success, yet many landowners overlook this step, according to officials.
To improve food plot outcomes, landowners should learn how to read seed tags, calculate PLS, and determine the appropriate amount of seed needed. The department provides resources to help with these calculations, which can be found on its website.
