Mississippi is celebrating 250 years of outdoor shooting traditions with events at the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks’ shooting facilities this summer.
The department’s facilities across the state offer a variety of shooting sports, including sporting clay courses, pistol ranges, rifle ranges, and skeet shoots. These venues attract families, friends, beginners, and seasoned shooters.
Whether preparing for hunting season, learning about shooting sports, or enjoying outdoor recreation, visitors can find activities suited to all skill levels. The department encourages the public to join in the celebration of American marksmanship.
