Mississippi DOR employees participate in legislative update sessions

Employees at the Mississippi Department of Revenue are participating in ongoing training to ensure accurate and efficient service to residents, according to agency officials.

Recently, staff from across the state attended mandatory legislative update sessions. The sessions aimed to provide a better understanding of laws enacted during this year’s legislative session.

These meetings also allowed employees to ask questions, share insights, and prepare for the implementation of new legislative changes. The updates are expected to impact agency operations and the services provided to taxpayers, officials said.
