Mississippi DOR names tax auditor Employee of the Month

BILOXI, Miss. — The Mississippi Department of Revenue has named Billy, a sales tax auditor, its Employee of the Month.

Billy was recognized for his technical expertise, professionalism, and dedication to the agency’s mission, according to his manager, Michelle. She praised his understanding of Mississippi sales tax laws and his ability to complete work accurately and fairly.

His manager also highlighted Billy’s communication skills, noting his effectiveness in explaining complex tax matters to taxpayers and assisting colleagues in the Sales Tax Department.
