Wayne Cantrell, director of digital forensics at the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, has been awarded the Digital Investigation Catalyst Award from the Law&Crime Network’s JUSTYS Awards, according to the department.
The award recognizes leaders in digital investigations who advance the field through innovation and collaboration. Cantrell was praised for his efforts to drive technology forward, strengthen partnerships, and expand resources.
His work is credited with transforming how investigations are conducted and making a lasting impact on digital forensics. The department highlighted his role in helping to shape the future of digital investigations across the field.
