The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is still responding to severe weather that affected the state on May 6 and 7, 2026. According to preliminary reports, at least 17 people have been injured during the events.
No fatalities have been reported, authorities said. MEMA continues to assess the damage and coordinate response efforts across affected areas.
