Mississippi State Auditor Visits North Mississippi, Meets Local Officials

State Auditor Shad White visited North Mississippi this week, meeting with local officials and law enforcement representatives. During the trip, White met with peanut farmer Brian Atkins and Aberdeen Mayor Dwight Stevens, who showcased the Aberdeen Port.

White also held discussions with Sheriff Kevin Crook and his team. The meetings focused on ways the Auditor’s Office could assist local law enforcement agencies, according to a news release.

The visit highlights ongoing efforts to strengthen support and collaboration between state agencies and local communities in Mississippi.
