Mississippi Visitor Education Center announces fall programs
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has announced a series of educational programs at its Visitor Education Center this fall. The events aim to engage the community in learning about local culture and wildlife.
Upcoming programs include a Choctaw culture and flute demonstration scheduled for September 5. On October 3, the center will host a wildlife rehabilitation program. The following week, on October 10, there will be an autumn tree identification event with Mississippi State University Extension Service.
Participants are encouraged to bring their curiosity and join these free programs. Additional information is available on the department’s website at https://www.mdwfp.com/visitor_education_center.
