Mississippi wildlife official marks 25 years hunting on same WMA

Caleb Hinton, the Wild Turkey Program Coordinator for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, has a full-circle story. He harvested his first turkey in 2001 on Leaf River Wildlife Management Area.

Twenty-five years later, Hinton is still hunting on the same land. His ongoing connection to the WMA highlights the lasting opportunities these areas provide for outdoor enthusiasts and conservationists alike.
