Community members in Booneville are encouraged to participate in National Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event provides a free and anonymous opportunity to dispose of old or unneeded medications safely.
Participants are advised to bring their medications to a collection site located in front of the Booneville Walmart. The event is part of a nationwide initiative aimed at reducing prescription drug abuse and preventing accidental poisonings, according to organizers.
