National Take Back Day encourages safe disposal of medications

Communities nationwide are participating in National Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25, to promote the safe and anonymous disposal of old and unneeded medications. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to bring their medications to collection sites near them. One such site is located in front of the Booneville Walmart, according to organizers.
