Students in the marketing internship program at North East Mississippi Community College had the opportunity to learn from alumnus Ben Tucker on Friday. Tucker shared insights from his experience working in marketing across healthcare, athletics, and electric power sectors.
He offered practical advice on internships, networking, flexibility, and navigating the modern workforce. The session aimed to prepare students for real-world challenges and opportunities in marketing careers.
College officials expressed appreciation for Tucker’s willingness to give back. They highlighted the importance of alumni engagement in mentoring the next generation of Tigers. Tucker’s visit underscored the value of networking, believing in one’s mission, and being proactive in professional development.
