Students from Northeast Mississippi Community College’s marketing program visited Booneville Main Street on Wednesday, meeting with Main Street Director Debb Tubb.
The interns observed how marketing occurs daily in the community, from supporting local businesses to revitalizing downtown areas, according to a college news release.
The experience demonstrated to students the real-world impact of marketing beyond the classroom. NEMCC emphasizes practical learning through hands-on projects, networking, and community partnerships, the release said.
