North East Mississippi Community College’s Career Connections series featured Kirk Chism, MBA, NRP, FP-C, the college’s Paramedic Director. Chism shared his personal experience entering the emergency medical services field and discussed the various career pathways available.
Chism also introduced students to NEMCC’s new Paramedic Program and emphasized the many opportunities within EMS, from emergency response to advanced, specialized roles. He encouraged students to explore these options as they consider their future careers.
College officials expressed appreciation for Chism’s participation and for helping students understand how to begin their career journeys. They highlighted that exploring one opportunity at a time can lead to a fulfilling career in emergency medical services.
