Northeast Mississippi Community College Celebrates 18 Adult Education Graduates

Tishomingo Adult Education at Northeast Mississippi Community College has recognized 18 students who earned their High School Equivalency Diplomas during the 2025–2026 academic year, college officials said.

Graduates include Mattox Armstrong, Alyssa Thorn, Christopher Foote, Robert Haas, Aubree Green, Adrius Hegel, Pamela Jackson, Presley McMillan, Kiaya Mills, Aaden Parker, Allie Petty, Brylee Reed, Kierstyn Smith, Christian Strong, David Williams, Michael Rose, Brandon Sparks, and Brianna Burcham.

Each diploma symbolizes perseverance and resilience, reflecting the students’ dedication to building brighter futures, according to the college. Administrators expressed pride in the graduates and anticipation for their future endeavors.

The college announced that the Tishomingo Adult Education Program will begin accepting new students on Aug. 10, 2026. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Amanda Janes at adjanes@nemcc.edu to learn more or to join the enrollment list.

Officials emphasized that it’s never too late to start working toward a high school equivalency diploma and encouraged community members to take the next step toward their futures.
