Northeast Mississippi Community College has reported an increase in student success rates since establishing its Success Center. The passing rate rose from 78.1% to 80.7%, resulting in an average of 492 additional passing grades each semester, college officials said.
The Success Center was created to provide students with support, encouragement, and challenges to help them succeed academically. College representatives emphasized that success involves more than just attending classes; it includes the guidance and resources necessary for students to reach their goals.
Faculty and staff at Northeast are dedicated to helping students advance toward their degrees, careers, or future plans. The institution continues to focus on fostering an environment that promotes student achievement and progress.
