Northeast Mississippi Community College students earn top honors at State Art Show
Two students from Northeast Mississippi Community College received top honors at the State Art Show held at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba.
Jamyla Elliott won first place in photography for her work titled “Self-Reflection.” Graceyn Smith earned second place in photography for her piece called “Green Converse,” according to a college news release.
The college expressed pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting their creativity on a statewide stage. Northeast officials said the awards reflect the talent and potential of their students, signaling a bright future for the college’s art program.
