The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has announced the winners of the Art of Conservation’s Fish Art and Essay Competition. The winners are posted on the organization’s website.
First-place winners will advance to national judging, according to the Art of Conservation. The organization also reminded participants that the deadline for the 2026 Bob Tyler Fish Hatchery Youth Art Contest is May 10, 2026.
There is no essay requirement for the hatchery contest, and any native Mississippi species is accepted, the organization said.
