AMORY, Miss. — The Northeast Mississippi Line of Duty Memorial was held Thursday in Amory to honor officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their communities, according to a post from the district attorney’s office.
The event drew a large crowd and included a ceremony recognizing the families, friends, and agencies of fallen officers. The ceremony aimed to remember and honor those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
In a message accompanying the post, officials thanked the officers and their families for their sacrifices. The post also included a list of the officers remembered during the event, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to honor their service and sacrifice.
