Northeast has been named an Apple Distinguished School through 2029, marking its third consecutive recognition, according to a news release. The designation highlights the school’s use of technology to enhance learning across classrooms, labs, studios, and the field.
The school is the only higher education institution in Mississippi to hold this distinction, which recognizes innovative teaching and learning practices. Students at Northeast are using technology to create, collaborate, and prepare for future opportunities, the release said.
The school emphasized its commitment to integrating technology into education as part of its ongoing efforts to advance student success. The recognition underscores Northeast’s role in fostering a forward-looking learning environment.
