Northeast student Riley Perkins has received the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi scholarship, which recognizes students pursuing careers in communications and related fields, according to school officials.

Perkins will attend the University of Mississippi this fall, where he will work as a photographer for Ole Miss Athletics. He previously served as a marketing intern at Northeast for the past year, the school said.

School officials expressed pride in Perkins’ achievement and his future plans, which include working with the university’s athletics department.
