Northeast to Conduct Active Shooter Training with Local Agencies

Northeast Community College will collaborate with the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office and Booneville Police Department for active shooter training on July 21 and 22 at Patterson Hall, according to college officials.

The exercise aims to enhance preparedness and coordination among law enforcement and campus safety personnel. College officials emphasized that the training is scheduled and there is no threat to the campus.

Students, staff, and visitors may notice increased law enforcement presence during the exercise. The college asked for cooperation and understanding as it conducts the safety drill to improve campus security.
