Choosing a college can be overwhelming, with students weighing factors like tuition, programs, and campus life. For Haleigh Leach, Northeast Community College stood out because of its affordability, but she found much more.
Leach said she encountered instructors who knew her by name, advisors who genuinely cared, and friends who became like family. Getting involved on campus and joining Phi Theta Kappa provided her with scholarship opportunities that supported her education after Northeast.
“No other college has a community like Northeast. Everyone from your instructors to Financial Aid wants you to succeed,” Leach said. At Northeast, students are not just a number; they are part of a supportive community committed to their future.
