Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across parts of the region Friday, with the greatest risk of severe weather southwest of Memphis, according to weather reports.
Storms passing to the southwest of Memphis pose the highest threat of reaching severe limits, with damaging winds identified as the primary concern, the National Weather Service said.
