The annual Triad Senior Citizens Appreciation Day is scheduled for May 29, less than a month away. Community Service Officer Timmy Lowery has been actively collecting door prizes and donations to support the event.
Organizers have not yet reached their goal for door prizes or donations. They hope to gather enough items so that every senior in attendance receives a prize, and to cover the event’s expenses through donations.
The event aims to provide food, fellowship, and entertainment for senior citizens. Vendors interested in attending should bring a table, as space is limited. Vendors are also asked to bring a case of water and door prizes.
Organizers look forward to welcoming attendees and making the day special for the seniors in the community.
