Two instructors graduate from Mississippi CTE Leadership Academy
Two instructors from Mississippi community colleges have completed the 2026 CTE Leadership Academy, a program aimed at developing the next generation of career and technical education leaders.
Dalton Harris, an instructor in respiratory care technology, and Joey Boren, an instructor in construction engineering technology, dedicated the past year to expanding their leadership skills. They gained knowledge and insights to strengthen their programs and better support students, according to the Mississippi Community College Board.
The MCCB CTE Leadership Academy is designed to prepare educators for leadership roles in postsecondary career and technical education. The board expressed pride in Harris and Boren for leading the way in this effort.
