A Wind Advisory has been issued for portions of northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel, according to the National Weather Service.
So far today, sustained winds have ranged between 25 and 30 miles per hour, with occasional gusts reaching up to 40 mph, the agency said.
The advisory is set to remain in effect until 6 p.m. local time. Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor objects and exercise caution while outdoors.
