Mississippi Top 3 American Idol Contestant to Host Storm Relief Benefit
Colin Stough, a Gattman native who became popular from his stint on American Idol, is hosting a benefit concert for victims of Hurricane Helene. The 19 year old has been touring all over the south and has popular songs such as “Sober” and “Sleep Tonight.” He moved to Nashville after becoming a fan favorite for his Southern-rock mixed with country style on American Idol and earning a spot in the top 3. He also played on the stage at this year’s CMA Fest.
The concert will take place on October 12th at 6:30 pm. Admission is $10 and will be at Frisco Park in Amory. Gates open at 4.
