An investigator started working on the case yesterday evening regarding a dog mentioned in reports from the previous day.
The dog was taken to a local veterinarian this morning, who examined it and treated it for parasites. The veterinarian said the dog was otherwise healthy.
Investigators plan to continue following up on the case. They noted that other animals, including dogs, chickens, and a pig, were all well kept.
