Police recover classic stolen car

On January 24th, 2023 the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a stolen 1971 Chevrolet Malibu with a value of $10,000.00. The vehicle was stolen from Highway 4 West where it had been left in a shed for several years.

Investigators Torie Jumper and Jason Chism followed up on leads which lead them into surrounding counties and resulted in the recovery of the vehicle.

The case is still under investigation and charges will be forthcoming.
