The US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee said Thursday morning that summer-like heat is not done yet, but today should stay mild before a warming trend starts Friday.
Its forecast graphic said Corinth should see a dry, rain-free weekend, with highs near 90 early next week and nighttime lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s. The graphic labeled a warming trend beginning Friday and showed Corinth at 81 Thursday, 86 Friday through Sunday, 89 Monday, 91 Tuesday and 89 Wednesday, updated at 6:07 a.m.
Later Thursday, the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee said a warming trend begins tomorrow and persists into early next week, with above-normal temperatures continuing through the end of September.
The forecast graphic showed Corinth highs of 85 Friday, 84 Saturday and Sunday, 86 Monday, 90 Tuesday, 89 Wednesday and 85 Thursday. It also showed nighttime lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s and mainly rain-free weather through the upcoming weekend, with the graphic updated at 1:55 p.m.
In a Thursday evening post, the US National Weather Service Memphis Tennessee said temperatures should gradually warm into the upcoming weekend, with isolated thunderstorms returning to the forecast early next week.
The graphic titled Weekend Outlook – Warmer & Dry showed Corinth highs of 85 Friday, 84 Saturday and Sunday, 86 Monday and 90 Tuesday, with precipitation chances at 0% Friday through Sunday and 5% Monday and Tuesday. It said pleasant conditions are expected through the upcoming weekend.
